5786/2025 Co-Presidents' Letter

Dear Temple Emanu-El Family,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we wish you and your loved ones a very peaceful and happy New Year!

This past year was one of immense change throughout the global landscape, yet our Jewish and affinity communities have shown incredible resilience and solidarity.  We are very proud to share that our membership and programming continue to grow, making it the largest it has ever been in our 49-year history.  Temple Emanu-El has lived up to its well-deserved reputation as a sacred, soulful community.

We are thrilled to announce that volunteerism is alive and well at Temple Emanu-El, with over 50 teams and committees for all interests, ages, and stages.  For example, the Antisemitism task force has engaged and inspired 140 congregants through outreach summits with local congregations of various religions.  We have 32 active Chavurah groups who maintain connections among congregants in smaller groups of relational Judaic and social activities. Should you have any questions about any Temple activities, please feel free to contact either of us.

The congregation's unwavering support, dedication, and love have been a guiding light and created a unique sense of place.  We cannot thank you enough for your contributions to our multi-generational community.

May this New Year bring you and your family continued health, happiness, and fulfillment.

Warmest regards,

Art Katz                                    Emily Sanders
