I need your help.  

Please take 5 minutes to vote REFORM in the World Zionist Congress Elections. If you’ve already voted, please encourage one other person to vote and do the same.  

The stakes have never been higher. 

If you want all converts to Judaism to be eligible for Aliyah in Israel, vote REFORM. 

If you want the children of interfaith marriages to be eligible for Israeli citizenship, vote REFORM. 

If you want to ensure women receive equal rights in Israel, vote REFORM. 

If you want Israeli Reform synagogues to keep their rights and their funding, vote REFORM. 

If you want LGBTQ Jews to have equality under the law in Israel, vote REFORM. 

If we don’t win in this election, the status of everything above is at serious risk. We could see Israeli immigration services reject the legitimacy of Jews who convert through the Reform movement. Jewish children whose mother is not Jewish may not be recognized as Jewish through the eyes of Israeli law. Women may be forced to sit in the back of public buses, or prohibited from singing or performing at public venues. 

These are all very real platforms the Ultra-Orthodox parties in the Knesset have advanced in recent years. The only reason they weren’t enacted is due to the influence of the Reform movement in the World Zionist Congress.
