The social hall was packed this past Sunday for our antisemitism program. While it’s important to stand up against antisemitism, we would LOVE to see equal (if not more!) folks join us to celebrate being Jewish!
Our Jewish identity shouldn’t only shine bright when under threat.
Community leaders hold town hall after residents discover antisemitic flyers in neighborhood
Community leaders and lawmakers held a town hall Sunday night in Sandy Springs to discuss combatting hate in the wake of dozens of people discovering antisemitic flyers in their driveways earlier this month.
Senior Rabbi Spike Anderson with Temple Emanu-El in Sandy Springs hosted the town hall. He said doing nothing was not a choice they wanted to make.
“We decided doing nothing was a choice we didn’t want to make,” said Anderson.

For over 75 years, AJC Atlanta has been connecting people and building relationships throughout the world, our country, and, most importantly, our city.
The Unity Seder celebrates the Jewish holiday of Passover, which tells the story from the book of Exodus of the Israelites' journey out of Egypt, from slavery into freedom.
We are proud to be part of a diverse community committed to building unity. Join us as we use the rituals of the Passover Seder to tell stories of oppression, freedom, and responsibility from all our faith and ethnic traditions.
The Seder's meaning is rooted in the voices and hearts of those around the table. Join us and add your voice!

COVID safety: Masks are optional at Temple Emanu-El events since the CDC’s designation that the Atlanta metro area is in a medium to low risk status. We continue to monitor the risk status levels. When the weather makes it feasible, services and oneg will be outdoors. When in the Sanctuary, there is separate seating during worship services for those who are most comfortable sitting with others who are masked. If you are not feeling well or were diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 10 days, please stay home and Livestream services rather than attend in person.
