A Shabbat Message from Rabbi Rachael Miller
Was Your Seder Night Different From All Other Nights?
While some of you may be able to relate, perhaps not so many of you have an almost-three-year-old living in your home who has been singing (yelling?) Passover songs since the morning Purim passed.
Unique to her singing this year was the declaration: “No, ima (mommy), you can’t sing with me right now. You’ll sing with me at the Passover seder, but not right now, not until then. Wait until seder.”
Temple Emanu-El is looking for Challah bakers to bake small challahs for a special project we are planning for our congregants.
If you are interested in baking any time over the next several months, please email Stephen Blick.

Join us to hear featured speaker Ilse Eichner Reiner. Orphaned at an early age, Ilse Eichner Reiner was sent to the ghetto and concentration camp of Theresienstadt. Of 15,000 child prisoners there, she was one of 100 who survived - only to be deported to Auschwitz. Almost immediately, she was sent to a slave labor camp and then miraculously escaped from a death march. Following her liberation by the Russians, and with great resilience, Ilse built a life enriched by family, culture and joy.

COVID safety: Masks are optional at Temple Emanu-El events since the CDC’s designation that the Atlanta metro area is in a medium to low-risk status. We continue to monitor the risk status levels. When the weather makes it feasible, services and oneg will be outdoors. When in the Sanctuary, there is separate seating during worship services for those who are most comfortable sitting with others who are masked. If you are not feeling well or were diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 10 days, please stay home and Livestream services rather than attend in person.
