This morning, I woke up and did something I don’t normally do. I watched the news.
I’m more of a morning news “reader” than I am a news “watcher.”
The images of various college campuses moved me to want to watch and to listen to what was happening. The environment was loud. The noises sounded like a war zone.

Have you heard of the Caring Committee?
We are dedicated to serving the Temple Emanu-El community in times of joy and hardship.
Our mission is to provide support and comfort to our congregants during significant moments in their lives. However, we can only do this if we are informed of these events. That's where you come in.
By reaching out to Nila and/or Marina, as well as the clergy, you can help us be there for you and your loved ones. Whether you are experiencing the birth of a child, an illness, a marriage, a conversion, or the passing of a family member, our Caring Committee is ready to offer assistance and support.
Don't hesitate to contact our office, and let us be there for you during these important moments. Remember, our office number is 770-395-1340.
“One person caring about another represents life’s greatest value.” Jim Rohn
